The musette is a typically Parisian form of music but its influences are diverse, and it is this patchwork of music that the Denecheau Jase Musette continues to follow and promote. They include composers from the Auvergne, from Italy, from Spain and even from America. The Americans brought across the Atlantic the jose (drums), the banjo, the Boston, the one-step and also the foxtrot.
