All over the world people have a stereotype picture of bavarian folkmusic. Many germans mix up the true bavarian folkmusic with the very commercial so called „Volkstumliche Musik“ a mixture of popular music with few traditional elements. Not many people know how diverse, humorous, emotional and moving the true and living vivid music from Bavaria can be. In cooperation with the journalist Ulrike Zöller, who is a real expert in Bavaria's traditional music, Galileo Music presents on its new label Bayla Reocrds “Obacht! Music from Bavaria” (Obacht is a bavarian expression which means “Watch out!”), a fascinating document of the current tradtional music from Bavaria which especially is directed to people for whom this music is something completely new.
