The French gipsy guitar player Django Reinhardt is one of the greatest jazz artists ever and was the first Eurpean musician to become one of the most influential jazz giants on the level of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington or Charlie Parker. This is an album of 25 of the greatest original tracks recorded by Django Reinhardt from the year of 1934 to 1949. He is joined on most tracks by Stéphane Grappelli and the Quintet of the Hot Club de France.
