He was the founder of the UK band, the Equals. Eddy Grant is a bona fide humanitarian, vegetarian, human rights advocate, animal welfare proponent and most importantly, a great songwriter, musician and singer. 'Reparation' is one of his finest recordings. It is a shame that Americans are not aware of him. By the way, he's the guy who composed and sang the worldwide hit single 'Electric Avenue'.
