Known to millions as just Piaf, Edith Piaf died in 1963 and fifty years after her passing, Sepia Records remembers her with this tribute compilation. Truly iconic and an international star, Piaf led a tragic life which translated onto her songs. Her life has been turned into plays, musicals and a film. Of the twenty-five songs chosen for this CD, twenty-four were recorded in the early 1960s in stereo and the better known include 'Milord' and 'Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien'. Only 'La Vie En Rose' is in mono.
