On her first CD, Swede Ellika Hansen sings music she set to poetry written by American Emily Dickinson with her own piano accompaniment. Emily Dickinson runs like a red thread through Ellika Hansen's life, from the time she discovered the poetry in an old book at a library in 1985. Ellika became completely consumed by the poetry and Dickinson's fate. By the grand piano, the music just came to life with the text of Dickinson's poems.
