The great Italian musicologist Enrico Castelli has devoted this recording to the Konso, living at the borderof Ethiopia with Sudan. This panorama presents pieces linked to daily agricultural tasks, sacred and ritual songs, as well as recreational songs. The rich instrumentarium includes flutes,  lyre to accompany songs, bell for epics, horn trumpet, xylophone and drum.
