FANTASTIC is comprised of Swedish artists Markus Hasselblom and Daniel Strandman. The core-duo hails from the city of Gothenburg, one of Europe's most underrated cultural gems. Their debut LP, El Futuro, is the sound of nu-romantic chartbusters having an acid-fueled personality crisis; pop hooks grip the heart while dark harmonic tides taunt logic and programmed back-beats possess the legs and feet. FANTASTIC spins a dizzying emotional kaleidoscope of pop melodies amidst a desert sandstorm of psych and kraut-influenced song cycles. El Futuro is releasing in September 2014 via US independent label La Société Expéditionnaire, an imprint specializing in releasing albums as unique gems.
