Rather than relying on predictable cover versions, the album is packed with distinctive original songs alongside inspired reinterpretations of overlooked gems discovered along the way. From the driving opener Paranoia Point to the haunting Honour Your Tears and the atmospheric El Panico, the band effortlessly crosses musical boundaries while maintaining a sound that is unmistakably their own.
Featuring musicians whose combined experience includes The Clarksdale Bluebeats, The Backbeats, Jesse James & The Outlaws and The Blue Flames, the Frank Gannon Trio delivers a refreshingly individual take on modern Rock 'n' Roll. If you're looking for something that sidesteps the obvious and takes the scenic route instead, this album is well worth the journey.
