Description

Freddie Steady Krc & Eve Monsees team up on two beautiful songs written by Clementine Hall and Roky Erickson from the 13th Floor Elevators catalogue.

In the mid-1960s, Clementine Hall teamed up with Roky Erickson , she providing lyrics and he the music, for two of the most beautiful songs in the 13th Floor Elevators catalogue. Clementine was the wife of 13th Floor Elevators main lyricist and electric jug player, Tommy Hall. Clementine was considered the '6th band member' and was sort of a spiritual provider/den mother to the group. The song 'She Lives in a Time of Her Own' from the Elevators 'Easter Everywhere' was written about Clementine. Freddie Steady Krc, Roky Erickson & The Explosives founding member, and Eve Monsees teamed up to record duets of these two songs. Accompanied by some of Austin, TX finest musicians with cover art by six time 'Poster Artist of the Year' in the Austin Chronicle Music Awards, Billie Buck, this 7' disc is a 13th Floor Elevators fans' must have!
