It is with great honor that Cyclic Law welcomes Canada’s unique, legendary black ambient act Funerary Call to their family. For this new opus, Harlow Macfarlane found inspiration from personal interpretations of the Tree of Death (considered the reverse side of the Tree of Life), a diagram of the evil forces assigned to each Sephiroth. They represent the counter-forces of the 10 divine emanations as described in Lurianic Kabbalah, and the forces that inhabit these dark archaic realms. The constant shifting of sounds and tones is a metaphoric reflection of these various chaotic entities. Built as one continuous piece with various chapters, this new album serves as a vehicle for delving deeply into the shadow side.
