Gordon Gunn is one of Scotlandâs top fiddlers and a member of the hugely successful Scottish band: Session A9. He also has his own Gordon Gunn Band, who recorded âShoresideâ (CDTRAX204) for Greentrax in 2000 - and still selling briskly. Gordon is also a tunesmith and some of his slow airs, in particular, have been hailed as the very finest. On this album he has enlisted the help of some of Scotlandâs great session men: Brian McAlpine (keyboards & accordion); Phil Anderson (guitar); Marc Clement (guitar); Tim Edey (melodeon) and Marc Duff (whistles).
