When it comes to Drone, nobody does it better than Haare. Active for decades, Ilkka Vekka started as a secret tip on exquisite labels such as Freak Animal and Terror and quickly rose up to the top ranks of the subgenre, making Haare one of the biggest names in the game. And this is certainly well deserved, as the current full-length 'Submagic' once again proves.

As usual, the sounds are carefully crafted and perfectly arranged. Drawn out waves of modulated bliss dominate the tracks, something is always going on and there is a perfect balance between liberating sonic minimalism and sophisticated interplays between spherical nuances that grow from unknown places and melt back into that black pool of droning radiance. Classic Haare at its best!

As can be seen from the title, 'Submagic' once again delves into themes of occultism. Being heavily influenced by Thelema and 70ies occult revival aesthetics, Haare crafts the perfect Soundtrack for the mauve zone and astral wanderings. Nothing short of a mystical journey, 'Submagic' is a mandatory experience for the connaisseur of deep Electronics and Noise Drone.
