The Heathen Apostles revisit the art of the remix on this split EP with doom-dub supergroup The Vladiators. The Heathens released Requiem for a Remix in 2015, and their 2026 offering features remixes by Chopper Franklin. It opens with the incendiary No Peace (No Justice mix); the song was written in the wake of the George Floyd protests and first appeared on Bloodgrass Vol. 3 & 4 (2018). Two heavy dub mixes follow; 2016's Deadly Nightshade (from Bloodgrass Vol. I & II) and Shadow of the Crows (from Bloodgrass Vol. 3 & 4) both get the heavy treatment.

With that in mind, we release this dub remix of 'No Peace' as a reminder to continue speaking out against hate and oppression while simultaneously working to uplift our local communities from a place of love.' The Vladiators are a gothic doom-dub collective built around vocalist/multi-instrumentalists Chopper Franklin (The Cramps), Gav King (Fields of the Nephilim), and Mather Louth (Radio Noir) -- three genre veterans fusing dark, heavy songwriting with deep dub production. In the spirit of fellow music collectives New Age Steppers, KMFDM and Desert Sessions, the Vladiators will continue to spread their brand of dark dub, with a full-length album coming soon.
