German-born Heinrich von Kalnein (sax / flute) is one of the most high-profile jazz artists of the European scene.

For more than 10 years saxophonist / flutist Heinrich von Kalnein, otherwise also one of the two masterminds of the internationally acclaimed JBBG Jazz Bigband Graz, is leading his trio KAHIBA.
Alongside the Swiss drummer and live electronic musician Gregor Hilbe, the Austrian accordion virtuoso and pianist Christian Bakanic played for many years. In 2016, the band reformed. The place of Bakanic now fills the young Turkish pianist An l Bilgen more than and the band sounds so fresh and immediate, as if all thinking had disappeared in this moment of the live recording.
