This second CD of organ music by Oskar Sigmund (1919-2008) in the Profile series once again takes up the composer's interest in traditional music and foreign influences. Heinrich Wimmer, who studied with Oskar Sigmund, presents works including 'Fantasy and Fugue on Russian Orthodox Motifs' and 'Variations and Fugue on a French Lied' at the Rieger organ of the St. Jakob Church in Burghausen.
