John Wallace's remarkable career has seen him perform with JoBoxers, The Big Town Playboys, the James Taylor Quartet, Little Willie Littlefield and Robert Plant, while David Howarth also appeared in the original West End casts of Buddy and Good Rockin' Tonight. Together, they lead a first-class band whose effortless performances capture the spirit of the Swing era without ever sounding like a museum piece.
Mixing timeless standards such as Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart, Rosetta, Who's Sorry Now?, Deed I Do and the title track Crazy Rhythm with infectious original material, this is an album full of warmth, humour and superb musicianship. A delight for fans of Swing, Jump Jive and vintage Rhythm & Blues.
