Hope Levy weaves in her own personal connection to Connie exploring Converse's whimsical and poignant folk songs as she searches for clues to Connie's self-orchestrated disappearance in August of 1974. The whereabouts and fate of this groundbreaking musician remain unknown to this day.

Before Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell hit the folk scene in the 1960s, Connie Converse performed self-written songs for friends in the early 1950s. She disappeared in August of 1974 never to be seen or heard from again. Decades later, the world heard her songs when a CD of her original demo recordings from 1954 was released in 2009 and went viral on Spotify; a biographical examination of Connie Converse's life by Howard Fishman has been published (May 2023) from Dutton Books. Singer-songwriter Hope Levy performs Connie's songs.

She may be missing since 1974, but Hope Levy is determined to keep her music and story alive. A trailblazer in the singer-songwriter genre, Connie was a brilliant musician and social activist, and way ahead of her time.
