A re-release to CD of the late Ian Hardie.
This was the first album released by Greentrax in 1986 and having just celebrated our 25th Anniversary it seemed appropriate to re-release this excellent album. Ian Hardie is an outstanding fiddle player but also a prolific composer. He composed all the tunes included on this album. Ian played in many folk groups which sprang from the very vibrant session scene of Sandy Bellâs Bar, including Jock Tamsonâs Bairns. Ian was at the time of his death a member of The Occasionals ceilidh dance band.
