INANIS YOAKE was formed by Simone Skeleton and Risa Hara in London in 2020 and 'Shallow Mist' is their 3rd album. The constant evolution in their sound and experimental approach makes the 12 songs included in this work some of the best so far of their discography. A dark and sinister thread unites every chapter of the album leading to an introspective trip of the duo. Simone Skeleton and Risa Hara who composed and performed all the songs, (vocals, lyrics, synths, piano, drums and strings arrangements, music) present a mix of Postpunk, Darkwave, Synthwave blended accurately and originally; there are no boundaries in their experimentations like in the closing track 'Down Here' with elements of noise rock and psychedelic folk, one of their darkest songs, or 'I've Done Everything I Can', 'The Dismal Sea' and the titletrack with electro industrial vibes. SHALLOW MIST features also a collaboration with Tony Wakeford and Michael Aliani as guest vocals on 3 songs.
