Feels Like Home' is the fifth album from Norwegian singer and bandleader Inger Marie Gundersen. Her debut album, 2004's 'Make This Moment', rose to the top of many jazz-oriented vocal charts, especially in Asia. Since then, and with the release of albums 'By Myself,' 'My Heart Would Have A Reason' and 'For You', she has found a growing audience throughout Europe and the United States also.
Inger Marie has her own voice - dark, warm, heartfelt and engaging - and a great sense for choosing exactly the right material, which varies here from the Creedence Clearwater Revival hit 'Long As I Can See The Light' to Otis Redding's seminal '(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay' and Abba's 'When All Is Said And Done'.
The rhythm section features Korean bassist Sungsu Kim and Nowegian drummer Jarle Vestepestad, alongside keyboardist Rasmus Solem, saxophonist Bendik Hofseth, trumpeter (and album producer) Per Willy Aaserud, guitarist Hallgrim Bratberg and the Kristiansand String Quartet.
