The second part of Lehtola, Jan's series on the history of organ and organ art presents organ symphonies 3 and 8 by Charles-Marie Widor of France. The works were recorded at the Cavaillé-Coll organ in Lyon. The close collaboration between Aristide Cavaillé-Coll and Charles-Marie Widor succeeded in uniquely combining organ construction with performing and, above all, creative music.
