This is the first NYC solo performance from Jarboe post SWANS delivered to a packed room at NYC's Knitting Factory.
It features a multi-track audio recording and songs from the self-released album entitled 'Disburden Disciple' as well as other solo work and that with M.Gira/Swans. This show was part of a grant program entitled 'Work In Progress' and Jarboe presented a type of rock theater which featured choreography as well as 'puppet-masters' handcuffing her during the song 'Bound' and also applying 'trepanation blood marks' to the band's foreheads as part of the finale 'Euphoria/Out Demons Out.'
The encore songs of 'One Thousand Years' and 'We'll Fall Apart' from the World Of Skin album were of extreme symbolic importance to Jarboe and the intense emotions come through.
