Sunwatcher' is the debut solo recording by Jeff Lederer-the saxophonist is well known for his work with the bands of Matt Wilson, Bobby Sanabria and Jimmy Bosch - He is joined here by iconic jazz bassist Buster Williams,downtown legend Jamie Saft and the ubiquitous jazz drummer Matt Wilson in a recording that ranges from hymn tunes to modal jazz and free playing.
