Snidero is a counter player of enormous depth and with very advanced melodic and above all harmonic concepts.

This new recording is probably the saxophonist's most mature fruit, and listened to carefully it reveals his qualities as a soloist and composer in the context of a music profoundly linked to the boppish expression of the 1960s, particularly the music of Jackie McLean, whose hardness of accents and taste for highly characterized compositions it preserves. This is not to say that Snidero is an epigone of McLean what differentiates him from the legions of imitators is precisely the personality of his phrasing and the intense feeling that animates it. Excellent rhythmics, fresh, current, with Benny Green also contributing a very sweet composition, Intimacy.
