Jingle Jangle Christmas Bells: 27 Cool Yule Doo Wop Gems gathers festive rarities from the golden age of doo wop and rhythm and blues, when close vocal harmonies, street-corner style, and early rock 'n' roll energy transformed familiar holiday themes. The collection captures the warm, swinging, and occasionally mischievous spirit of Christmas recordings from the 1950s and early 1960s.

The program brings together major vocal groups and early rock artists including The Drifters with Clyde McPhatter and Bill Pinkney, The Orioles, The Moonglows, The Cadillacs, The Penguins, Frankie Lymon, The Ravens, and an early incarnation of The Four Seasons. Alongside interpretations of seasonal standards such as 'White Christmas,' 'Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer,' 'I'll Be Home for Christmas,' and 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,' the set presents less familiar songs that have become sought-after collector recordings.
