Combining his talents as a composer certified music therapist, John Adorney has created Toward a Gentle Place 2

John Adorney's new album, 'A Silver Thread', features 14 all-new instrumental tracks, with John performing on guitar, cello, keyboard, lap steel guitar, melodica, and percussion. The album is a follow-up to his groundbreaking 2017 release, Toward a Gentle Place.

In addition to being an award-winning composer, with two of his past albums being voted Best New Age Album of the year, Adorney is also a certified music therapist. The sequence of tracks of this superb sequel is (also-cut) based on a music therapy concept known as the ISO principle, where the music meets the listeners in their present state of being, then gradually guides them to a calm and serene place.

'A Silver Thread' begins with mid-tempo and uplifting pieces. Then, track by track, it works its way through increasingly gentle compositions, guiding the listener to a relaxed state.
