Kuljus has won many international competitions including first prize at the International Oboe Competition 'Prague Spring' in 2001. He has been the guest oboist with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Bavarian Radio Symphony, the German Symphony Orchestra, Berlin and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and makes regular appearances with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra as soloist, chamber musician and conductor.
