Based in Denver, Keith Oxman has been a cornerstone of the city's jazz scene for decades. A professional musician since the 1970s, he toured with the legendary Buddy Rich Big Band and has shared the stage or studio with icons including Art Blakey, Sonny Stitt, Red Holloway, Pete Christlieb, Jack McDuff, Phil Woods, Dave Brubeck, Jon Hendricks, Louis Bellson, Pearl Bailey, The Temptations, and The Fifth Dimension. His recorded output is equally impressive, with eleven acclaimed releases on Capri Records--including collaborations with John Coltrane trombonist Curtis Fuller (with liner notes by Benny Golson) and saxophonist Houston Person on the widely celebrated Two Cigarettes in the Dark, which spent over two months on the National Top 50 Jazz Week Chart and earned a 4-star review in DownBeat.

Beyond the bandstand, Oxman has shaped generations of young musicians through his more than 20 years teaching instrumental music at Denver's East High School. With Home, he distills a lifetime of experience, emotion, and musical camaraderie into a record that swings hard, sings beautifully, and reminds listeners that jazz, at its heart, is always about connection.
