Kevin K is from the first wave of US punk and has been releasing records since 1978. SHADOW WORK 38 is his 38th solo album, and with his red-hot band the BOWERY KATS giving tight and muscular treatment to many Kevin K classics, it's an album he thinks might be his best.

Feline loving Kevin K is all too aware that cats are harbingers of secret knowledge, and an ever present reminder of the dark, or shadow side of one's psyche. Shadow work is the cat that watches you with its penetrating gaze, reading your deepest thoughts.
