Kilmarnock Edition is Lisa Rigby, Roberto Cassani, Yvonne Lyon, Alex Hodgson, Fiona J MacKenzie and Stu Clark. They take their name from Robert Burns celebrated volume of work, âKilmarnock Editionâ. The group came together in the Burnsong International Songhouse of 2009 and have since been collaborating on developing a new and exciting genre of Scottish music. All 6 members are well known in their own right, as singer/songwriters and all bring something unique to the group. They are described as having: âAn array of delicious voices and infectious tunesâ and their sound as: âTake a pinch of Scots, mix vigorously with some Gaelic, throw in a splash of reggae and finish off with a sprinkle of jazzâ.
