Adding further firepower is guitarist Danny B. Harvey, whose dynamic playing would later make him one of the best-known names on the international Rockabilly circuit.
This isn't a carefully polished live recording. It's a snapshot of a hungry young band playing with urgency, confidence and the sheer excitement that made the early 1980s revival such a special moment for Rockabilly. From I'm Gone, Jitterbop Baby and Let 'er Roll to Rockin' In The Graveyard, Woman Love and the explosive title track Tear It Up!, the performances are driven by razor-sharp musicianship, pounding rhythms and Levi Dexter's unmistakable vocal style.
Alongside many of the band's best-loved songs are performances that have never appeared on any other release, making this much more than another live album. It's an invaluable document of one of the defining bands of the Rockabilly revival, preserving the raw energy that first made Levi Dexter a favourite with audiences around the world.
