Fats Domino played piano on Lloyd's first single, 'Lawdy Miss Clawdy' back in March 1952, which then spent seven weeks as the r&b No. 1. Elvis Presley would cut his own powerhouse version of 'Lawdy' a few years later. Other Price hits included 'Oooh-Oooh-Oooh', 'Restless Heart', 'Tell Me Pretty Baby' and 'Ain't It A Shame' (twice), all included in this compilation of his best work for the Specialty label between 1952 and 1956.
