Description

M.A.C.E. vs. Trash Diva live split LP. Hardcore, queercore & transpunk.

M.A.C.E. vs. Trash Diva is a live split LP capturing the raw force of hardcore, queercore, and transpunk from two fiercely political bands rooted in Orlando, FL, and Baltimore, MD. Recorded live in their own community spaces and pressed exactly as they sounded in the room, this release documents not just performances but conviction. There is no studio gloss, no strategic softening of language, and no attempt to make the message more comfortable. What you hear is what was said, in front of real people, in real time. M.A.C.E. confronts patriarchy, bodily autonomy, queer liberation, and systemic misogyny head-on, treating the stage as a site of resistance rather than entertainment. Their songs directly challenge gender-based oppression, attacks on reproductive rights, and the everyday violence embedded in power structures. Trash Diva operates with the same urgency, openly centering queer and trans voices while confronting gender norms, social control, and the policing of identity. Their set is unapologetic and confrontational, rejecting the idea that marginalized people must soften their message to be heard. Both bands stand firmly for women's rights, LGBTQIA+ liberation, and the protection of marginalized communities, and their lineups reflect those commitments in practice rather than branding. These recordings serve as documentation of bands actively building inclusive spaces, amplifying underrepresented voices, and refusing to remain silent in the face of political hostility. Pressed on milky clear vinyl and limited to 200 copies, this DCxPC Live release preserves a moment in the underground where community, confrontation, and solidarity are loud, intentional, and unfiltered.
