'A Rose for Egeria' is the third album of the Italian band MaterDea, characterized by a new musical expression and a more powerful sound, enriched by technical refinements although maintaining the flourished melodies which MaterDea' s audience is already accustomed to.

MaterDea was born out of the collaboration between Simon Papa and Marco Strega in 2008. Since the release of their first album they created a band with a strong rock structure perfectly blending mystical and dreaming atmospheres. Here, the voices, the fiddle and the keyboards graciously draw melodic lines upon the powerful rhythmic session.

'A Rose for Egeria [Deluxe Edition]' features a special version of the hit song 'The Green Man', taken from the second album of the band 'Satyricon'. The album is now released worldwide with a brand new package and style via Rockshots Records. .
