Description

Mehdi Haddab (oud) and Meryem Koufi (voice and kouitra) turn the established order of the Algeria 's Andalusian suite on its head

In Nuba Nova 2, strong and weak beats are separated and then distributed among several instruments (drums, bass, synthesizer, congas), turning the established classical order on its head. A joyful caravanserai! Progressing in accordance with the five movements that structure the Algiers nouba, every fork in the road becomes like a breach, a breakthrough towards every desirable horizon.
