Merline Johnson was one of the best woman singers in the 30´s and 40´s in the Chicago area. She worked with Big Bill, Josh Altheimer and Blind John Davis. She was born 1912 in Mississippi and came to Chicago 1936 where she played with the best musicians. Enjoy!
