Momo Wandel Soumah, also known as 'Momo le Doyen' (Momo the Elder) departed us in 2003. This earthy and flamboyant Guinean saxophonist was a true king of swing and improvisation, a major figure of African jazz and a musical and historical reference.  This album is a reissue of the original film scores that he wrote and performed for Laurent Chevallier's films.
