The album brings together a stellar lineup, including kora master Toumani Diabaté, the incomparable Meshell Ndegeocello, pianist Jon Cowherd, Shara Nova (My Brightest Diamond), and many others. Opening with the title track, which tells the tender story of a child refugee, the album traverses themes of love, loss, resistance, and hope. 'Star Seeds' is a soothing trio with Diabaté and Bruce, while 'Where Are We' raises urgent questions, incorporating a traditional Nigerian prayer in Yoruba. Tracks like 'Come Catch Your Breath with Me' and 'It's Hard to Stop' invite reflection and emotional release.

Morley also covers Minnie Riperton's 'Les Fleurs,' offering a radiant homage full of hope, and closes the album with 'Lucky,' a stream-of-consciousness ode to gratitude and emotional rebirth.
