Swedish grindcore band NASUM quickly rose to become one of the most influential acts of the extreme metal underground. But when lead singer Mieszko Talarczyk died in the tragic tsunami of 2004, NASUM instantly ceased to exist. Eight years later the band's surviving members embarked on a world tour with the intent of ending NASUM 'the way it was supposed to - exploding in a ferocious, blasting frenzy, not wither away at the mercy of tragedy.'
On the day of the 10th anniversary of the final Nasum show, Nasum and Selfmadegod Records are happy to announce a physical audio release of 'Blasting Shit to Bits - The Final Show', previously only available on DVD/streaming. This is a raw and unpolished rendering of what Nasum were during the peak of the 2012 Farewell tour - an emotionally charged final release in front of a packed Debaser Medis in Stockholm, Sweden. An audio version of the show has been a request among Nasum fans for many years, and the band have listened and waited for the right moment to release it. The CD has all the 33 songs performed live October 6, 2012.
