A deceptively simple CD which manages to stradle ambient, minimalist, liturgical, folk and classical styles without compromising any of them. The music grows out of delicate piano lines, percussion, and subtle arrangements for violin, 'cello, French horn and electronics. Rather in the mould of naïve Serbian composer Boris Kovac, whose Ritual Nova appears on ReR, the music finds simple ways to say something rather complex about cultural difference and the future of postmodernist music.
