The 25th Anniversary edition of No Retreat's "Rise Of The Underdog" on translucent green vinyl. Remixed and remastered by Eric Klinger (Pro-Pain).

Forming in 1993 at college, No Retreat mixed heavy, aggressive riffs, intense breakdowns and death metal-style vocals that incited massive mosh pits. Moving to Pittsburgh in the mid-90's, the band was quickly embraced by the Steel City's small hardcore scene. In 1999 the band joined forces with local punk/hardcore label, Da' Core Records who introduced them to local hardcore musician/producer, Eric Klinger (Pro-Pain, The Take, Built Upon Frustration). Klinger set up a makeshift studio in the Da' Core Records house and started recording 'Rise Of The Underdog' in its basement. The result was one of the heaviest, beatdown albums of its time. 25 years later, Screaming Crow Records had Eric Klinger remix and remaster 'Rise Of The Underdog' making it sound 10 times better than the original dank basement recording. Yes, we know its been 27 years since its original release. Like Da' Core Records, Screaming Crow Records is a small label. There were some legal and financial issues that had to be overcome to make this happen. Regardless, we are extremely excited to be back on track and re-releasing this album to a whole new generation. Available for the first time on translucent green vinyl. Albums will be stickered 'Quarter Century Warfare Edition.'
