Fresh Hybrid Rock with a manga background
Nothing But Real is a french hybrid rock band from Paris. The band was created in July 2018.
Its members are Hanta (vocals), Tom (guitar), Eghan (drums) and Victor (Bass).
The band is influenced by many styles such as alternative rock, fusion, stoner, film music, pop and electro.
Nothing But Real was born from a first base on one of Tom's projects, 'Black Reed'. The project mixed electro/rock and cinematographic atmosphere. The intention evolved with the will to create a universe inspired by mangas/comics. The sound of the quartet comes to life through mysterious virtual characters.
Hanta becomes the narrator of the band's life, thanks to her powerful voice and illustrated lyrics, on the energy and groove of Eghan and Victor.
The band develops different themes in a world where duality surrounds us... black and white, good and evil, love and hate, darkness and light...
Sakar, an alien with white and black skin, is the perfect symbol of this duality. He is their avatar...
âº2019 : two singles « Don't you know » and « Noisy Mind » were made as a test for the quatuor and confirmed the direction.
âº2020 : their debut album was sewn with storms and grace on filmic introduction as an opening with 7 new tracks leading from demons to redemption.
âº2021 : the band is back in the recording studio.
