Old School Rock 'n' Roll series 'is a party, and you're invited to dig the music with a big, big, beat!' We are proud to make available this series which features numerous titles that were mainly 'discovered musically' during the 1970s explosion of 'big beat music!' The performer's recordings throughout the series often featured the crème de la crème of session musicians whose expertise with either the; saxophone, piano, guitar, drums created musical perfection. Some titles were also graced with the presence of backing vocalists who added depth of sound to recordings released by the labels. Numerous small labels also thrived during these years, and the under-promoted artists despite an often limited production budget also added style and mastery to their Golden Years recordings.
