The Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra and the Kokkola Quartet together with magnificent soloists present the gems of Anders Chydenius's (1729-1803) sheet music collection from less renowned composers. The Finnish enlightenment advocate, priest, politician and father of economics was also a music lover. He maintained a small orchestra in his parsonage in Kirkonmäki, Kokkola, and collected a large collection of sheet music that play an important role in Finnish music history. There are 11 notebooks (over 50 songs all in all) signed by Chydenius in the sheet music collection of the Turku Musical Society, kept in the Sibelius Museum in Turku.
