Originally released in 2024 and now re-issued via Rockshots Records, 'The Iron Curtain' marks the explosive debut of California's rising thrash metal force Parabellum. Written and recorded while the members were still in their high school days, the album captures the urgency, rebellion and conviction of a generation discovering its voice through speed, aggression and purpose.

Conceptually, 'The Iron Curtain' is a statement about control, propaganda and division - both political and personal. Drawing parallels between history and modern society, Parabellum deliver ten tracks that rage against apathy and manipulation. From the adrenaline-fueled 'Deserted' and the ferocious title track 'The Iron Curtain' to the haunting 'Truth Written in Blood' and the apocalyptic closer 'Amoshalypse,' every song is designed to provoke thought as much as headbanging.

'This record was born out of frustration with the systems that profit off fear, control and conflict,' explains the band. 'Each song is a bullet aimed at apathy, conformity and silence.'

Musically, the album fuses the speed and precision of classic thrash with the energy of youth - rapid-fire riffs, relentless drums and politically charged vocals that echo the urgency of a world on edge. Produced, mixed and mastered by Tom Jimenez at Audio Edge Recordings (Sacramento, CA), the sound remains raw, honest and unfiltered - the essence of true thrash.
