Paul serves as music director for Newport Baroque, Sine Nomine Choral Ensemble, and First Church in Boston, where this recording took place. A Yale University graduate, Paul holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and is a recognized leader in the early music community.In this album, the duo performs all three of Bach's sonatas for viola da gamba and harpsichord, exploring the rich interplay between the two instruments.
