Limited edition 2 CD and 1 DVD set celebrating the 85th birthday of veteran German jazz pianist and vocalist Paul Kuhn, who sadly passed away just after reaching this milestone. Includes the full album The L.A. Session, recorded at the legendary Capitol Studios with drummer Jeff Hamilton and bassist John Clayton. Second CD features recordings that Kuhn made between 1996 and 2011 with various musicians including Toots Thielemans, Till Bronner, Benny Bailey, Dusko Goykovich, and Roberta Gambarini. DVD captures Kuhn with an octet and orchestra live at the B Jazz Festival, and also includes a bonus 37-minute documentary.
