Live recordings from 1983 on CD for the very first time

In 1983, after playing live and in the studio with German pop star Drafi Deutscher (documented on the Sireena CD 'Playing Funky - The Lost Album') Richard Hagel (vocals), Thomas Hesse (guitar), Heribert Grothe (bass), Thomas Waßkönig (keyboards) and Wolfgang 'Fox' Schulte (drums) went back on stage to present again this unique hot blues rock live a la Pee Wee Bluesgang. The tracks of 'Absolutely Live' have been recorded live in 'second living room' of the band, the Logo Club in Hamburg as well as at an open air spectacle in her hometown of Iserlohn, as the Pee Wee's rocked at the Schiller square in front of the Old Town Hall. Part of the repertoire as 'Down Healed Blues', 'Playing Funky' or 'Summer Sun' were known from the band's cooperation with Drafi Deutscher ., other songs were new. Outstanding got the 10 minute version of 'Hey Joe'.

The Pee Wee Bluesgang passed thousands of gigs in home- and foreign countries. The band not only knows how to enthuse 80,000 fans in Russia but also showed their musical spectrum at concerts with the Philharmonic Orchestra Südwestfalen. Whether Bluesfestival or Classic Event, the PeeWees are fascinating the people.
