The wide range of instruments used by Pena, including tenor, soprano and alto saxophone, bass and regular clarinet, and flute, also brings variety. The album has been executed almost entirely without dubbing, which of course adds pressure to the two musicians. But no worries, the skilled improviser Lahti does a good job with different instruments in developing imaginative moves alongside Ylönen's often very wild and proud cello.
